Heart failure medicine interactionsThe following list shows possible interactions of medicines that are commonly taken together to treat heart failure.
This list does not include every possible interaction, so please tell your health care provider about all the medicines you are taking (prescription, over-the-counter, herbals and vitamins).
You may need other treatments besides medicine to help your heart work better or to prevent serious problems.

- decreased levels of potassium in your body, which may increase digoxin effect

| ACE inhibitors (Captopril®, Enalapril®, Lisinopril®, Quinipril®) |
- aspirin
- ibuprofen (Advil®, Motrin®, Nuprin®)
- ketoprofen (Orudis KT®)
- naproxen (Aleve®, Naprosyn®)

- all have decreased ACE inhibitor effect

- alcohol

- hydrochlorothiazide

- vitamin K (green, leafy vegetables)
