Who volunteers?
Adults of all ages and teens from all over the Twin Cities volunteer at Abbott Northwestern. Students may volunteer after school, on the weekends or during summer vacations.
Volunteer roles
As a volunteer, you can work directly with patients and visitors or behind the scenes helping with clerical duties or special projects. We will work with you to structure a volunteer position that matches your needs and interests. Opportunities are available in the following areas:
Emergency Department
flower or mail delivery
gift shop
information desks
department assistants
patient discharge area
surgery waiting areas.
