For families who are expecting and who are concerned about birth defects or genetic disorders, WomenCare offers genetic counseling services through Minnesota Perinatal Physicians. These services can provide early knowledge that allows for informed planning and decision-making through prenatal screening and testing.
The Virginia Piper Cancer Institute also offers genetic counselors, with specialty training in cancer, who evaluate women who may be at high risk for breast, gynecological and other cancers.
