Free arthritis seminar Sept. 9 in Bloomington
08/24/2009--The Arthritis Foundation and Abbott Northwestern Hospital are sponsoring Treatment Options for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis Sept 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Creekside Community Center, 9801 Penn Ave. S.
Orthopedist Scott Anseth, M.D., rheumatologist Jody Hargrove, M.D., and Deborah Sales Maysack, North Central Chapter president and CEO of the Arthritis Foundation are the keynote speakers.
"We want to let people know the approach we take to joint replacements at Abbott Northwestern Hospital," said Dr. Anseth. "This is an opportunity to learn about the many options available for relieving arthritis pain."
The seminar is free, but people are asked to let the Arthritis Foundation know if they plan to attend by calling 651-644-4108.
