Free arthritis seminar May 6 in Burnsville

 04/22/2009--The Arthritis Foundation and Abbott Northwestern Hospital are sponsoring Arthritis: Innovations in Treatment May 6 at Burnsville City Hall, 100 Civic Center Parkway.

Orthopedists James Larson, M.D. and Tilok Ghose, M.D., anesthesiologist John Mrachek, M.D. and Deborah Sales Maysack, North Central Chapter president and CEO of the Arthritis Foundation are the keynote speakers.

'We want to let people know the approach we take to joint replacements at Abbott Northwestern Hospital," said Dr. Larson. "Our team is devoted to joint replacements, and patients have had shorter than usual hospital stays and excellent outcomes."

The seminar is from 1 to 3 p.m. It is free, but people are asked to let the Arthritis Foundation know by May 1 if they plan to attend by calling 651-644-4108.
