Allina Mental Health at Owatonna HospitalOwatonna Hospital's mental health unit is a 10-bed secure facility. We offer inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with acute mental illness. Our unit provides a safe environment for patients and families. A referral by a physician, therapist, pastor or local hospital emergency room is required for admission. For more information call 507-455-7644. Our professional mental health team includes social workers, registered nurses, mental health workers, occupational therapists and psychiatrists. Although treatment plans are individualized and length of stay varies, our goal is to help patient's complete treatment and return to their daily routines as quickly as possible. We offer a comfortable, therapeutic setting that allows patients to discover healthful, effective ways of regaining control of their lives while sharing their experiences with people with similar challenges.
