Facts & Figures
Project Description
Owatonna Hospital, part of Allina Hospitals & Clinics, is building a replacement hospital adjacent to Interstate 35 in Owatonna. The new hospital will replace the current hospital located in Owatonna, which dates back to 1931.
Innovative design processes and principles are being used that emphasize quality and safety. The building’s design will maximize natural light and views for patients and visitors and sets the tone for a healing environment within. Artwork, gardens and views of the prairie landscape will be integrated to enhance the building’s therapeutic effect.
In late 2006, Owatonna Hospital sponsored an online survey and five community forums to solicit feedback from community residents on their patient care experience vision and priorities for a new hospital and healthcare campus in Owatonna. To view the results, download the results in PDF format Community Forums Feedback.
