JCAHO Public NoticeThe Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) will conduct an unannounced accreditation survey at River Falls Area Hospital. River Falls Area Hospital is accredited through JCAHO. This agency serves to help ensure and monitor the quality and safety of patient care. The purpose of these surveys will be to evaluate the organization's compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. The survey results will be used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, an accreditation should be awarded the organization. Joint Commission standards deal with organizational quality of care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. Anyone believing that he or she has pertinent and valid information about such matters may request a Public Information Interview with the Joint Commission's field representatives at the time of the survey. Information presented at the interview will be carefully evaluated for relevance to the accreditation process. The requests must also indicate the nature of the information to be provided at the interview. Such written submitted requests should be addressed to theJCAHO address below. If you feel the services provided at River Falls Area Hospital, have in any way compromised patient safety or not met accepted quality of care standards, please contact our Patient Representative's office at 715-426-4526 so your concerns can be addressed. If you do not feel these concerns have been adequately addressed after contacting our Patient Representative's office, please contact JCAHO.
Division of Accreditation Operations The Joint Commission will acknowledge such request in writing, or by telephone, and will inform River Falls Area Hospital of the request for any interview. River Falls Area Hospital will, in turn, notify the interviewee of the date, time, and place of the meeting. This notice is posted in accordance with the Joint Commission's requirements and may not be removed before the survey is completed. |
