More than 70,000 patients receive care at Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute each year. The Institute's programs — now at five metro hospitals
and 20 outpatient clinics located throughout the metro area — have been lauded since Sister Elizabeth Kenny
began treating people with polio. With your help, Sister Kenny Rehabilitation
Institute will continue in the future to be in the forefront of new and innovative
programs geared at making our lives work.
The Sister Kenny Foundation allows for the exploration of ways that people can
reach their highest level of independence. And we help restore and

With the help of concerned individuals, the Sister Kenny Foundation allows Sister
Kenny Rehabilitation Institute the ability to carry its tradition of “historic pioneer,”

Created in 1999, the Foundation raises funds that support the Institute’s distinctive
mission of making lives work….helping people reach their highest level of independence.
Purpose
The Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable corporation
that provides financial and advocacy support for the quality and innovative rehabilitation
